JavaScript – Internet Explorer for Windows

By defining this website as a ‘Trusted site’, JavaScript will be enabled for KBC without changing your settings for other websites. JavaScript is a programming language used in combination with HTML to carry out all sorts of extra functions.

To define it as a ‘Trusted site’, adjust your settings as follows:

Step 1

 Print and follow these step-by-step instructions.

Step 2

Open the ‘Tools’ menu and select ‘Internet Options’.

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 3

Click the ‘Security’ tab.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Step 4

Select ‘Trusted sites’ and click the ‘Default Level’ button (bottom right).

Step 5

Click ‘Sites’.

Step 6
  1. Deselect ‘Require server verification (https:)…”
     
  2. In the field ‘Add this website to the zone’, type in:
    - for the KBC website: kbc.be
    - for the CBC website: cbc.be
    - for another website: the domain, i.e. the site name followed by the country extension
     
  3. Click Add.
     
  4. Click OK to save and close.

Step 7

Restart Internet Explorer and surf to this website.
