What's the KBC e-Business Card?

e-businesscard

Are you using KBC-Online for Business or a different business application such as Flexims, W1se, Go&Deal, e-DocumentBox or Reach? If so, you can choose between two security methods that enable you to log in to the KBC Business Dashboard:

  • The KBC Sign app (learn more)
  • The KBC e-Business Card(and associated card reader)

Both methods make it easy for you to log in to KBC-Online for Business and to quickly and securely sign transactions. And that's not all. The KBC e-Business Card also gives you access to all your business transactions, management functions and e-government applications.

How does the KBC e-Business Card work?

The KBC e-Business Card looks like an ordinary bank card and is always paired with a card reader (both can be obtained from your KBC branch if you opt for KBC-Online for Business or another business application and choose this security method). If you want to log in or sign a transaction in the KBC Business Dashboard, simply insert your KBC e-Business Card into the card reader and enter your password to perform the action securely.

Important reminder

As of the end of October 2016, Mac users will no longer be able to use the KBC e-Business Card to log in and/or sign transactions in KBC-Online for Business. Mac users should therefore choose the more modern security method provided by KBC: KBC Sign
