What does Kate do in KBC Mobile?
If you have a question about your banking, insurance or our additional services, Kate is always on hand to help!
Kate will also send you messages as part of our ‘Extra convenience’ service in KBC Mobile. These include tips to help you save time and money. You can find more info on this in KBC Mobile's General Terms & Conditions.
Kate can also send you other messages.
Kate doesn’t only help you as part of our ‘Extra convenience’ service. For instance, she’ll also let you know when you’ve received a payment, if a document is ready for you to sign or if there’s been a suspicious transaction on your credit card.
In order to provide the best support possible, KBC offers ‘Extra convenience’ as standard in KBC Mobile. This means Kate will give you tips to help save you time and money. In addition, you’ll receive messages that give you insight into your income and expenditure. You can also earn and spend Kate Coins.
If you’d rather not use these features, you can always turn off ‘Extra convenience’. Tap your profile icon at the top left, go to ‘Privacy’ and then select ‘Extra convenience’. You can still ask Kate questions if you choose to turn off her savings tips.
If you turn off ‘Extra convenience’, you’ll no longer be eligible for the ‘Personalised’ agreement. This means that KBC can’t process as much of your data, so you won't be able to use Kate Deals and you'll see advertising which is less relevant to you.
