Notifying us that a KBC client has died

Notifying us that a KBC client has died

How to notify us of a death

It is important to let us know as soon as possible that one of our clients has died. When you notify us of the death, we'll send you a leaflet detailing the initial information that you need and will begin handling the deceased's banking and insurance affairs. One of our estates experts will quickly contact you once you've notified us of the death to tell you what needs taken care of and when. You can tell us of a death:

  • online
  • at any KBC Bank branch, or at the KBC Insurance agency where the deceased was a client. Find KBC near you.

Notify us online

You can tell us of a death quickly and easily online.

  1. To make sure everything goes smoothly, please enclose a copy of the death certificate.
  2. Once you've sent us that, you'll immediately get a leaflet with details of how to start dealing with the financial aspects.
  3. One of our estates experts will contact you soon after that.
