  • Loss, damage or injury you cause to your students if you are held liable

  • In the insurance against physical injury sustained by the children you mind, we do not compensate damage to existing prosthetics or orthopaedic devices, such as glasses, contact lenses, braces, and hearing aids

Home-help insurance

If you pay someone, such as a cleaner, babysitter or gardener, to help you in or at your home, you are legally required to take out industrial accident insurance.

Good to know

If you pay your cleaner or gardener with service cheques, you are not required to insure them against industrial accidents. This also applies to babysitters who are registered with Gezinsbond.

What's insured?

  • If one of these people has an accident whilst working in or at your home, we will cover their medical expenses and compensate them in the event of temporary or permanent work disability
  • If there is a fatal accident, we pay an annuity to the widow or widower, a benefit to the children, and the funeral expenses, among other things
  • If a friend comes to help you free of charge, they are also covered by this insurance

What is excluded?

Loss of or damage to goods
