Getting started with KBC Touch

Logging in for the first time

Using KBC Touch for the first time? See how to get started.

Find out now how to log in and sign transactions. Available features depend on whether you're using Touch on a tablet or a PC.

Signing with your app PIN using Touch on a tablet

When you start using our Touch app on your tablet, you set a five-digit app PIN that you use to log in and sign transactions.

Your five-digit PIN also lets you authorise credit transfers of up to 1,000 euros a day1, without having to use your card reader. Transfers for larger amounts require your KBC Bank Card and card reader.

You can also log in on your tablet using your card reader, but doing so with your app PIN is much easier and just as secure.

1 The standard limit is 500 euros, which you can raise to up to 1 000 euros in your settings.

Signing with your card reader using Touch on a PC

Card reader

You log in and sign on a computer using our latest card reader with a scanner. Older card readers with M1 and M2 buttons can no longer be used. Our latest card reader is used in combination with a bank card in your name and there are two ways to use it:

  • Enter the code appearing in the login and signing screens manually on your card reader and confirm it with your card PIN
  • Scan the barcode appearing in the login and signing screens and confirm using your card PIN

Give both methods a go to see which one is easiest for you.

If you don't have a card reader, apply for one now.

Signing on your smartphone using Touch on a PC

There's a third way to log in and sign in Touch on a computer: our KBC Sign app.

It lets you use your smartphone to log in to touch and sign transactions.
