True to tradition, KBC is supporting the latest project from the non-profit organisation Kopspel

The non-profit organisation Kopspel vzw was launched in 2004 as a work experience project for the broad cultural sector in Flanders. Pupils in part-time education are able to work in the studio, as well as staff with special employment needs who are looking to link up to the mainstream employment circuit again.
Founder Guy Swaegers was keen that Kopspel should make a difference, and it does.
He talks affectionately about the students and staff, with whom he constructs impressive decors and welds grandiose installations. The group are currently building a 'dream hut’.
‘
KBC has always supported us at the start of a new project. That’s not just important to us because of the financial contribution; the fact that KBC supports us also makes a statement that the project is worthwhile. It gives us credibility and makes it easier for us to attract other companies to get involved. So KBC acts as a sort of catalyst for further developments.’
That’s also the case with the latest project, the dream hut.
The group are building it in collaboration with the City of Antwerp in the public space at Spoor Oost. The dream hut is a place where young people can connect with members of civil society to talk about the kind of society they would like to build.
