  • If you've fallen victim to phishing, cybercriminals or are worried you've been scammed, the new Secure4u number is + 32 16 432 000. The old 0800 65 65 0 and + 32 15 63 22 80 numbers will be taken out of service on 1 April 2022.
  •  If your card has been lost, stolen, retained by an ATM or blocked, or if you suspect it's been used fraudulently, call Card Stop (at no extra charge) on its new number: + 32 78 170 170. The existing + 32 70 344 344 number will remain in use for a while longer to facilitate a smooth transition to the new number.
  • If you have a complaint and don't agree with the solution proposed by your branch or insurance agent, call KBC Complaints Management on its new number: + 32 16 43 25 94.

Be sure to put these new telephone numbers into your smartphone or address book.

We have added information about the new Bancontact CASH points. You can go to these ATMs to withdraw cash using your KBC payment cards and to change your PIN.

We set out who can determine the investment profile when there is a breakdown into bare ownership and usufruct.

View these and all the other changes.

The main changes are as follows:

  • The risk profile has been replaced by the investment profile to enable us to know better what type of investor you are and to make suitable investment proposals.
  • KBC can end the agreement in writing, but no longer has to do so by registered letter.
  • We have added the KBC Asset Management Account to the accounts that we can open without requiring an additional signature. KBC Bank will notify you of newly opened accounts (e.g., in a recorded telephone call).

You can request a copy of this document from your KBC Private Banking branch.

The main changes are as follows:

  • The provisions assigning the responsibility for collecting information on option investments and the relevant regulations have been brought more into line with the legal framework (new Article 1.2)
  • The communication methods and possibilities have been updated (amendment of Articles 5.1.2 and 13.1).

We have also changed the name of certain options exchanges and the reference to the applicable regulations for the exchange and relevant clearing house, and aligned the provisions with each other and brought them together for the various exchanges.

You can obtain a full version of this document from your KBC Private Banking branch.

VAB has clarified the conditions that determine how refuelling abroad is settled. In practical terms, your fuel card transactions abroad will always be invoiced on the basis of a recommended country-specific price. The fees and charges for the fuel card remain unchanged.

Some mandatory financial paperwork still needs to be taken care of first, but we'd be happy to help your teenager with the task at hand. They have 180 days from the day they turn 18 to sort everything out. This can be done either in the KBC Mobile app on a smartphone, or at a branch. Read all about it.

If your teenage son or daughter intends to manage their own account once they’re 18, you can discuss the possibility of being granted a power of attorney. See how that can be arranged.

You currently have a KBC Plus Account. It’s free of charge for under-25s, but reaching that quarter-century milestone means you’ll start paying a nominal charge of 3.25 euros a month for your account. In return, you enjoy many great benefits that you don’t get with our KBC Basic Account and for which you’ll soon pay a little extra.

Compare our current accounts to see the one that fits your life now. Definitely keeping your KBC Plus Account? If so, you don’t have to do anything.
