KBC Report to Society

Last year was a clearly challenging one for KBC, but we continued to focus on our primary goal: to help our clients achieve their dreams and society to meet its needs. You can read all about it in this Report.

2020 was to be a year of ‘greening’

In an interview, Johan Thijs (CEO) and Thomas Leysen (Chairman of the Board of Directors) discuss the necessity of a green revolution for both individual citizens and businesses. KBC was already doing a great deal, but planned to shift up a gear in 2020. You’ll find information about that in the Report too.

But then we were confronted with the outbreak and spread of coronavirus,

which quickly made society’s priorities very clear.
As an employer and service provider, KBC has immediately done everything in its power to safeguard the health of its staff and clients, while ensuring that normal services and payments are guaranteed.

It is clear in the meantime that coronavirus is also having an enormous impact on the economy. KBC is currently working with the government and other stakeholders to see what role it can play in addressing the crisis. Regardless of how the situation pans out, KBC will continue to assume its responsibility towards society.
