Peace of mind

As a first-time saver it is important to build up a savings buffer. Having a sum of money of this kind in reserve.

Return

The combination of saving and investing can generate a greater return. We aim to help you find the ideal balance between saving and investing.

Convenience

The savings buffer on your account is automatically monitored. You only start investing after that amount has been fully built up.

How does Start2Invest work?

hoe tegelijkertijd sparen en beleggen

It's simple, really. With Start2Invest you first of all decide on the size of your savings buffer. Each month you then save a certain amount towards it. This could be as little as 25 euros a month. And once your savings buffer has been reached, the monthly amount is then automatically invested in an investment plan or investment-type insurance.

If you suddenly need your money, don't worry. Just use what you need and the money you start saving again later is first of all used to bring your saving buffer back up to the mark. You then only start investing again after your buffer amount has been reached.

What is a savings buffer?

It's the amount you have in your savings account to meet unexpected expenses or costs. You never know whether your tablet will suddenly break down, when you want to buy a new television or if repairs are needed to your car. It's also in your interests not to wait too long before setting up your savings buffer. Select the amount and then try to build this up in your savings account within 18-24 months.

All the advantages of both saving and investing

  • Peace of mind, as you will always have savings in reserve
  • The combination of saving and investing can generate a higher return
  • Convenience, as the savings buffer on your account is automatically monitored
  • Low entry threshold, because you can save and invest from as little as 25 euros a month
  • Flexible, since you can adjust the monthly amount at any time and also change your savings buffer
