1. Can I uninstall Mobile Sign from my smartphone after installing it?

No, you don't need to uninstall it. Most problems that can occur (such as forgetting your PIN) don't actually need you to remove the app from your device. You can reset your lost PIN again under 'Settings' in the app's left-hand menu.

2. What do I do if I've uninstalled the Mobile Sign app from my device?

Install the app again using your bank card and card reader.

3. Does my smartphone have to meet minimum requirements before I can use KBC Sign?

Yes. You'll find the minimum requirements on the KBC Sign page.

4. I can't manage to scan the QR activation code on the Touch login screen. Is there a problem with my phone?

With certain models of smartphones, it's best if you scan the QR code from a little further away. Vary the distance between your smartphone camera and the QR activation code to get the camera to focus on the QR code.

5. Can I activate my KBC Sign app using a different smartphone from the one I used before?

Yes, you can. Just install the app on the other smartphone using your bank card and card reader. Find out where you can download Mobile Sign.

Please note that: The KBC Sign app can only be active on a single smartphone. Once your KBC Sign app is active on the new smartphone, you'll no longer be able to log in on the old smartphone.

6. What do I do if the smartphone I use KBC Sign on was stolen?

Call + 32 15 63 22 81 at any time to block your KBC Sign account. As soon as you have a new smartphone, you can easily reinstall KBC Sign.

7. What do I do if I've entered the wrong PIN three times (and now KBC Sign is blocked)/I've forgotten my KBC Sign PIN?

Don't worry! Be sure not to uninstall the KBC Sign app from your smartphone. You can solve the problem in a number of ways:

  • Still have your card reader (version 2.0) and bank card to hand? If so, you can set a new secret code directly in KBC Sign. 
  • If you don't have a card reader handy, go to a non-cash self-service terminal at your KBC Sign branch to re-set your secret code.
