What does this job entail?
How do we keep track of our IT, security and cybersecurity risks? What action should we take to mitigate these? These are the challenges you as Information Risk Manager will sink your teeth into. You will use insights, data and stunning stories to prompt others to take action, including your IT colleagues, the Global IT Committee and Board of Directors.
You will strengthen an international team which supports all KBC Group entities. Together, we take appropriate action to deal with all IT, security and cybersecurity risks. In addition, we are also involved with incident & crisis management at Group level, business continuity, third-party management and cloud technology.

What do we expect from you?
- You will gather data and insights into trends, threats and vulnerabilities regarding IT and cybersecurity. For this, you will work with other experts in the field.
- You will use the information you analyse to draw up crystal-clear actionable reports, written specifically for the target audience.
- Your presentations are visually strong and you communicate complex concepts or findings effectively.
- You think about our reports and reporting methods and where you see opportunities, you suggest improvements.
- Together with colleagues, you seek synergies to ensure that our reporting at Group level is as efficient as possible.
Your key strengths?
- You combine your expertise in Information Security, Cybercrime and IT with excellent communication skills in English.
- You have a university education and/or relevant experience in IT. And even better if you have a CISSP, CISM or CISA certification.
- An enthusiastic team of experts is ready and waiting to welcome and support you so you'll soon feel at home in the team. You will find your niche to focus on and you will have the scope to delve deeper into a specific area of expertise.
