What does this job entail?
We are offering an opportunity for an intern with a keen interest in financial markets and risk to join the risk management team overseeing the dealing room activities of KBC Group. The Market Risk Center of Competence offers a unique position to gain insight into the dynamics, challenges and risks related to dealing room activities.
As a market risk manager intern, you become part of the risk team that supports, challenges and advises our dealing rooms during their activities, safeguards that our control environment is up to standards and ensures that risks are known and understood by business and senior management.
Your key strengths?
- You have a master degree and are currently an actuarial science student.
- You have strong written and oral communication skills in English.
To match with this function you like an analytical challenge and don’t mind to dive deep into a subject. At the same time, you enjoy thinking conceptually, and are comfortable taking a more pragmatic approach were appropriate. You get energy from frequent interactions with colleagues and management, and want to inform them about your findings in a clear way.
