Group Market Services (GMS) supports all KBC Dealing Rooms, the Treasury department and other KBC entities that are active on the financial markets. It’s a particularly dynamic environment with a fascinating international dimension.

What do we expect from you?
- You oversee the day-to-day work and perform checks and controls. In doing so, you manage the quality of our operations. Your focus is on how to continuously improve things.
- You build up specific expertise that motivates you to involve your colleagues in a broad range of projects that have contact with international markets.
- You take final responsibility for reporting to regulators and management.
Your key strengths?
- Financial markets and products fascinate you. They put your analytical brain to work and challenge you to find answers to complex questions.
- With a master’s degree in a strongly mathematical subject – such as economy, mathematics or civil engineering – you’re perfectly armed to make a smooth start.

"As a Financial Markets Controller, you will have the opportunity to learn a tremendous amount about financial markets and products. On the one hand, you will be able to delve into numbers and data, to ensure that financial reporting is correct and without the possibility of fraud. On the other hand, you will gain insight into how the processes within Markets work, and participate in setting up/optimizing them. This gives you the opportunity to build a broad network with people from Front Office, Risk, Finance, IT,.... Within GMS you get the chance to work independently, but you can also always fall back on a team with nice and competent colleagues."
