What does this job entail?
As a Data Analyst, you act as the bridge between business and IT. You translate data needs within KBC Insurance into practical and scalable solutions that help employees work more efficiently and make better decisions.
To achieve this, you work closely with various business departments and IT teams. You contribute to defining the right approach, support the development of tools, reports and dashboards, and ensure that end users have access to reliable and secure data.
What do we expect from you?
- You analyse the data needs of different business departments and translate them into user-friendly and scalable solutions.
- You support the development and implementation of tools, reports and dashboards that improve daily operations.
- You ensure that data is efficiently and securely available to the right end users while safeguarding data quality.
- You critically assess existing processes, tools and reports and propose improvements where they add value.
- You collaborate closely with IT and business stakeholders to deliver solutions that meet both technical and functional requirements.
Your key strengths?
- You hold a bachelor's or master's degree and have at least three years of experience in a similar role.
- You have a solid foundation in data analysis, preferably within a business environment.
- You are familiar with database management and data integration, for example through SQL.
- Experience in developing and maintaining business solutions is an asset.
- Experience working in an Agile environment is a plus.
- Knowledge of mainframe systems and SAS, or experience with business intelligence tools, is considered an advantage.
- You have a data-driven mindset and can translate business needs into practical and effective solutions.
- You communicate fluently in Dutch and English, enjoy collaborating with others and always keep the needs of end users in mind.
- Experience in the insurance sector is a plus, but not a requirement.
