Your car's certificate of insurance in MoveSmart

If your lease car is insured with KBC Autolease, the certificate of insurance you receive on the main renewal date will be digital-only. The double benefit here is that you always have an up-to-date version on you and that you do your bit for the environment by having it in digital form

You can pull up your insurance certificate with a simple tap in KBC Mobile.

Where can you find your insurance certificate?

By using ‘MoveSmart’ in the KBC Mobile app (on your smartphone). MoveSmart can be found under ‘Additional services’ in KBC Mobile. It is also available to non-KBC customers.

A few more useful tips

Police spot check, accident or vehicle inspection

You’re always required to have your certificate of insurance on you. The digital version is sufficient, much more convenient and faster.

Easy to forward

An insurance certificate is linked to a vehicle and not to a person, so if you let someone else drive your vehicle, you have to provide that person with the insurance certificate. It's really easy to do this digitally.

Driving abroad

If you're planning a trip abroad, you’ll see the countries in which you are covered on your certificate of insurance. It's best to make a print-out of your insurance certificate on white paper to ensure you're prepared for all eventualities.

Save it offline

You can also keep a copy of your insurance certificate offline by downloading it and saving it to your files. Useful for whenever you don't have an Internet connection.
