What does this job entail?

As a Senior Business Analyst in our team, you play a key role in bridging IT experts and business stakeholders from the Treasury and Risk departments. Since we are organized according to the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe), you work closely with them in the same multidisciplinary team. By working in sprints, we are able to develop, evaluate, and adjust solutions faster and with higher quality—always in consultation with the business, ensuring the outcome is fully aligned with their needs.


You can expect a stimulating, international environment where you contribute with sharp functional analyses and a high-level understanding of business cases, changes, and scenarios. In business and strategic discussions, you take on the role of challenger.

What do we expect from you?

  • You coordinate and document the end-to-end data inflow for reporting.
  • You carry out functional analyses for applications within Liquidity, Asset & Liability Management (ALM) and RiskPro ALM.
  • You discuss your analyses with internal clients and technical experts, and challenge business stakeholders when needed.
  • You bridge business and IT by making sure business requirements are met within the existing architecture and standards.
  • You turn your analyses into functional test cases, execute them, and take responsibility for testing and debugging to ensure high-quality delivery.
  • You guide business stakeholders through User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and explain the outcomes.
  • You handle RiskPro configurations.

Your key strengths?

  • You hold a Master’s degree in Economics or Business Administration and have at least 5 years of experience with business and IT projects in the field of Liquidity or ALM.
  • You are familiar with data warehouse environments and are able to write your own SQL queries. You also bring knowledge / understanding of:
    • RiskPro (ALM, Liquidity, FTP);
    • Financial instruments and markets;
    • The Treasury & Risk functions;
    • Asset & Liability Management, Behavioral Modelling, Dynamic Simulations, Funds Transfer Pricing, Hedge Accounting, Solvency II;
    • The principles of the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

  • You are eager to quickly understand our IT, data, and reporting processes, and to continuously build your knowledge thereafter. Adapting to changing circumstances comes naturally to you.
  • You communicate fluently in Dutch and English, both spoken and written, and you express your ideas in a clear, structured, and convincing way.
