Your new lease vehicle is waiting for you at the supplier and you can’t wait to taste the freedom it offers. However, before taking your vehicle home, it’s a good idea to check the points below.

Go through the checklist carefully to make sure everything is in order.

1. Is it the right vehicle with the right accessories and options?
2. Does the vehicle come with the legally required equipment (warning triangle, first-aid box and fire extinguisher)?
3. Have you received the following vehicle documents?
   • Certificate of conformity
   • Vehicle instruction manual and service log book
   • If included in your contract, your charge card or fuel card which we send to you by post (your PIN is sent separately at a later date)
   • KBC Autolease folder including the:
     • Vehicle registration certificate
     • Certificate of insurance (if included in the contract)
     • Aperçu en cas de problème avec la voiture’ booklet (‘Practical information for drivers’)
     • Accident statement
     • Parking disc, high-viz vest, etc.
     • The vehicle inspection certificate for the tow bar if one is fitted to your car (as from 1 September 2026, this requirement will no monger apply to cars registered in the Flemish Region)
