The Global Equities team at KBC Securities supports the KBC Private Banking equity strategy team and portfolio managers with actionable equity research, investment strategy, and portfolio construction insights. We combine deep fundamental analysis with a catalyst-driven approach, advising on global equities across sectors (healthcare, industrials, technology, consumer, and defense/aerospace).
We are seeking a motivated intern to join our Global Equities team. The internship offers a unique opportunity to gain exposure to professional buy-side style research, investment strategy, and portfolio advisory. You will support the team in preparing investment committee materials, analyzing earnings reports, and contributing to thematic and sector-specific projects with real impact on equity recommendations and strategy.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in preparing investment committee briefings on equity markets, including company earnings, macroeconomic trends, and sector dynamics.
- Conduct financial analysis of listed companies across multiple sectors, including review of quarterly earnings releases, investor presentations, and valuation models.
- Contribute to portfolio construction projects, helping evaluate stock ideas.
- Support the drafting of equity research memos.
- Perform data analysis to track valuation trends, consensus expectations, and performance drivers.

Jouw troeven?
- Master student in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong interest in equity markets, investment strategy, and portfolio management.
- Solid analytical and quantitative skills.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Bloomberg or Refinitiv is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and communicate effectively in English (Dutch or French is a plus).
