What is the KBC Debit Card?
The KBC Debit Card is the ideal card for making business payments or cash withdrawals quickly and securely anywhere in Belgium or Europe. You can pay effortlessly in lots of places like shops, filling stations, restaurants and online, and freely withdraw money from any ATM in Belgium displaying the Bancontact or Maestro logo. Another bonus is that the card can be used to make contactless payments.
Everything you need to know about this debit card
You can use the KBC Debit Card in retail premises in Belgium where Bancontact or Maestro is accepted. In the rest of Europe, it can be used in any shop where you see the Maestro logo. You can even use it make low-value payments by going contactless.
If you need cash, you can use your KBC Debit Card at any ATM in Belgium displaying the Bancontact or Maestro logo. In the rest of Europe, cash can be withdrawn at any ATM displaying the Maestro logo.
You can use your KBC Debit Card online on any website displaying the Bancontact, Maestro or KBC logo.
Remember that withdrawing cash and paying abroad with your card can sometimes attract charges.
As standard, the maximum amount you can withdraw using your KBC Debit Card is set at 650 euros per day (up to a maximum of 2,500 euros per day at KBC ATMs only) and 2,500 euros per week (up to a maximum of 10,000 euros per week at KBC ATMs only).
You can change these standard settings yourself using KBC Touch, KBC Mobile and the KBC Business Dashboard.
As standard, the maximum amount that can be spent on your KBC Debit Card is set at 2,500 euros per week (up to a maximum of 10,000 per week). You can change these limits settings yourself using KBC Touch, KBC Mobile and the KBC Business Dashboard.
Note: total spending is limited to 25,000 euros per week.
Using KBC Touch, KBC Mobile or the KBC Business Dashboard, you can quickly and securely change your card's limits, enable it for online payments and activate it for use just in Belgium or throughout Europe.
If you need to request an additional debit card or if your card gets lost, stolen or becomes defective, simply request a new one in KBC Touch, KBC Mobile or the KBC Business Dashboard and avoid the hassle of having to go to your branch for it.

If your card is lost or stolen, block it immediately in KBC Mobile. Tap the card you want to block, select 'Card Stop' and follow the instructions. Or just ask Kate, your digital assistant in KBC Mobile, to block your card.
Alternatively, call Card Stop immediately on 078 170 170. Card Stop will block your card and ensure you get a new one. Card Stop can be contacted at any time.
