Running Internet Explorer 10 on Windows 7 requires the registry to be updated first. This tool facilitates this update.

Updating the registry for expired certificate (2012-10-09): vvcert32.exe

You may sometimes experience difficulty accessing KBC-Online for Business. You will then receive the following error message in a new Internet Explorer window: 'This certificate or that of its issuer is not yet or no longer valid. Most probably one of them has expired.' To avoid this error message, run vvcert32.exe.

If you wish to install software on the computer, you must have adequate administrator rights. This tool opens a window which shows the rights of the user who has logged in to the computer.

The KBC e-Business Card Reader is a device produced by Vasco. The driver is installed automatically using Plug & Play as soon as the USB cable is connected to the computer. If this does not occur automatically, you can install the driver manually using this original software from Vasco.

During installation of the KBC security software, the system requirements are verified, including a check for the presence of a connected card reader. This tool opens a window that shows which card readers are connected to the computer. If several card readers are connected, this may cause problems during the card activation process or when logging in to KBC-Online for Business.

DrTCP

This tool allows the TCP/IP package size (MTU value) on the local computer to be modified. This may be necessary if the user receives an error message about the activation server during the card activation process.

PutMyCert

When the card is being activated, the user's personal digital certificate is automatically stored on their computer. If this does not happen, the certificate can be installed on the computer manually using this tool. The KBC-Helpdesk must first provide the client with the certificate.

eToken

This tool allows eTokens (i.e. digital certificates) from other suppliers (e.g., CertiPost) which are connected to the computer via a USB stick to be temporarily disabled. These eTokens may cause a problem when using KBC-Online for Business with the KBC e-Business Card.

Securitycomponents (exe)

During installation of the KBC security software, the system requirements are checked. If these system requirements are not met, installation will abort. This tool enables the KBC security software to be fully installed despite the system requirements not being met.

Vasco Firmware

Check firmware version of the VASCO card reader. With firmware version 2.0 and higher, the problem with energy management (USB 2.0/3.0) should no longer occur (according to Vasco engineering).
