Activating KBC Mobile on a new device
If you have a new smartphone or tablet, this demo shows you how to quickly and easily activate KBC Mobile on your new device.

We should point out that the customers and data in the demo are fictional. The screens on a tablet or Android device may vary slightly from this iPhone demo.
Follow the step-by-step guide
- Install KBC Mobile on your new device (smartphone or tablet) and open the app.
- Tap your preferred language. In this demo, we’ve selected ‘English’.
- Choose whether to allow KBC Mobile to track your activity across other companies’ apps and websites. In this demo, we tap ‘Ask App Not to Track’.
- Indicate which cookies you want to accept.
- Tap ‘Log in’.
- Tap ‘KBC Mobile on your other device’.
- Take your other device and log in to KBC Mobile.
- You can find the QR code by going to your settings or by asking Kate. In this demo, we ask Kate. Tap the Kate icon and enter ‘Activate KBC Mobile on another device’.
- Tap ‘KBC Mobile on another device’ and then ‘Activate KBC Mobile on another device’.
- Tap ‘Create a QR code’ and confirm by entering your PIN.
- Tap ‘Scan QR code’ on your new device and scan the QR code on the other device.
- Tap the ‘Share your data here’ button at the bottom of your screen for extra protection against scammers. If you don’t want us to use your location, Please close the app and make an appointment with your branch.
- A verification code will appear on your other device. Enter that code on your new device and tap ‘Next’ twice.
- Read the texts. Tick the square at the top left of your screen by tapping it and then tap the ‘Accept the terms and conditions’ button at the bottom.
- Enter a 5-digit PIN of your choice and tap the tick.
- Enter your PIN again and tap the tick.
- If you want to use facial recognition, set it up by sliding the button next to ‘Face ID’ to the right. Then tap ‘Continue’. If you don’t want that, just tap ‘Continue’.
- Choose whether you want to receive notifications from KBC. In this demo, we first tap ‘Enable notifications’ and then ‘Allow’.
You’re all set to use KBC Mobile on your new device.
