What is the KBC Business Dashboard?

The KBC Business Dashboard is an online banking portal for use on a tablet or desktop. It ensures you can do your business banking with ease, allowing you to navigate seamlessly to your other banking applications, such as:

Like the idea of easy banking for your business? Request the KBC Business Dashboard today and receive immediate access to KBC-Online for Business. If you would also like access to the other banking apps, be sure to mention this when submitting your request.

Where can I find KBC-Online for Business?

You will find KBC-Online for Business on the start screen of the Business Dashboard. All the main functions have been placed there for you, with a full list displayed at the top of the screen. They are grouped under the headings 'Payments', 'Cash', 'Finance', 'Insurance' and 'Administration'.

Logging in

How do I log in for the first time using the KBC e-Business Card?

  1. Download Internet Explorer 11
  2. Install your Card, card reader and security software
  3. Connect your card reader to your computer
  4. Open Internet Explorer 11
  5. Navigate to the KBC home page for businesses and click the blue ‘Login' button at the top right of the screen.
  6. Select KBC Business Dashboard
  7. Choose your language
  8. Register as a new user
  9. Insert your Card into the card reader and click ‘Login’
  10. Enter your PIN and confirm it

You are now logged in. Your profile will be saved, so that next time you log in you only need to select your account.

How do I log in for the first time using KBC Sign?

When logging in for the first time with KBC Sign, you must first activate the app.

Activate the app

  1. Download the app
  2. Open KBC Sign on your smartphone
  3. Choose your language
  4. Tap ‘Register now
  5. Tap ‘I have a user ID and QR code’
  6. Enter your user ID (this is the 13-digit code that you received when requesting the app)
  7. Scan the QR code (you will find this in the letter or e-mail you received recently)
  8. Choose a code

Log in

  1. Go to the login page on your PC or tablet
  2. Select ‘Smartphone + KBC Sign app’
  3. Open KBC Sign on your smartphone. Go to the menu.
  4. Select ‘My profile’ and confirm with your code. You will now see your Login ID.
  5. Enter your Login ID in the login page on your PC or tablet and confirm
  6. Open KBC Sign again and tap ‘login’. Scan the QR code on your computer screen.
  7. Enter your code on your smartphone
  8. Congratulations! You have now logged in to the KBC Business Dashboard.

How do I log in?

If you are logging in to the Business Dashboard for the first time, take a quick look at the questions above. If you are a regular user, read on.

  1. Navigate to the KBC home page for businesses
  2. Tap or click the blue ‘Login' button at the top right of the screen
  3. Choose ‘KBC Business Dashboard’
  4. Choose your language
  5. Select a user
  6. - To log in with your smartphone, open KBC Sign, tap ‘Login’ and scan the QR code on your computer screen. Then enter your code in the KBC Sign screen and tap ‘OK’. You are now logged in.

    - If you want to log in with your e-Business Card, enter your PIN and press ‘OK’. You are now logged in.

What do I need in order to log in?

• If you want to log in securely without a bank card, you will need a smartphone and the KBC Sign app.

• If you would like to log in with a card, you will need the e-Business Card (or Isabel card) and a KBC Card Reader. You will receive these automatically once you have requested the KBC Business Dashboard.

If you use a Mac computer, you can only log in with KBC Sign and your smartphone.

What should I do if logging in fails?

It could be due to one of these causes.


• You can only log in with Internet Explorer 11 and the following operating systems:

o Windows 7 Service Pack 1
o Windows 8.1
o Windows 10

Download Internet Explorer 11

• If you use a Mac computer, you cannot log in with the KBC e-Business Card. Use KBC Sign instead to log in.

• If you haven’t yet installed the KBC Security software, you will need to do so in order to be able to log in securely.

• Another possibility is that your %%product.ebusineskaart%% has not been activated. If it hasn’t been activated, you cannot log in. How to activate the e-Business Card.

How do I install the Business Dashboard on a new computer?

If you're already familiar with the Business Dashboard but want to use it on a different computer, read on.

If you use KBC Sign

  1. Go to the login page.
  2. Click ‘KBC Business Dashboard’.
  3. Choose your language.
  4. Select the option Smartphone + KBC Sign app.
  5. Open the KBC Sign app on your smartphone. Go to the menu.
  6. Select ‘My profile’ and confirm using your code. You will now see your Login ID.
  7. Enter your Login ID in the login page on your PC or tablet and confirm.

If you use the KBC e-Business Card

  1. Log in as the administrator on your computer.
  2. Download the security software.
  3. Go to the login page.
  4. Click ‘KBC Business Dashboard’.
  5. Choose your language.
  6. Select ‘I have a security card and card reader’ and log in.

Common login problems

Operating system

You can only log in with Internet Explorer 11 on these operating systems:

  • Windows 7 Service Pack 1
  • Windows 8.1
  • Windows 10

If you use a Mac computer, you can’t log in with the KBC e-Business Card. Use our  KBC Sign app to log in on your phone instead.

Browser

Using Internet Explorer 11?

Page isn’t displaying correctly or you don’t have a login button

  • Check your version of Internet Explorer
    Only version 11 is supported. Get it now.

  • Reset Internet Explorer
    Here’s how:
    • Select the Tools icon (cogwheel) at the top right, then Internet options.
    • Go to the Advanced tab and hit Reset.
    • Check Delete personal settings.
    • Click Reset (4 green ticks should then appear).
    • Restart your computer.
    • Launch Internet Explorer and opt to use the recommended settings.
    • Visit our website or launch Online for Business using your desktop link.

  • Enable Compatibility View
    Check whether you have Windows 7 or Windows 10, then follow this guide.

‘Page cannot be displayed’ error when logging in

  • Reset Internet Explorer

    Check whether you have Windows 7 or Windows 10, then follow this guide.

  • Run the program as administrator
    Right-click the Business Dashboard icon
    in your Start menu or on your desktop. Select Run as administrator in the menu that opens (you may first need to click More, depending on the version of Windows you’re using).

Continually spinning circle after selecting ‘Online banking’ in Safari on Mac

  • Open the Safari menu and select Preferences.
  • Go to Cookies and website data and select Always allow.
  • Close Safari and restart it in a new session.

Have you installed our security software? You need it to log in securely.

Error messages

Getting one of these error messages?

Unexpected error occurred while validating your certificate

  • Check your version of the software. If it’s outdated, install the latest version.

  • Clear the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) state in your Internet options
    Open Internet Explorer and go to Tools then Internet options. Go to the Content tab’s certificates section and select Clear SSL state.

  • Check that your LAN settings are unchecked
    Open Internet Explorer and go to Tools then Internet options. Go to the Connections tab then LAN settings at the bottom. Automatically detect settings should be unchecked.

  • Install the certificate using the control panel
    Open the KBC/Isabel control panel. Double-click Install your Certificate and enter your card’s PIN when prompted. If the installation is successful, you’ll get a confirmation window.

  • Check whether your KBC e-Business Card is activated

Password window disappears instantly

  • Check your version of the software. If it’s outdated, install the latest version.

  • Update your trusted sites
    Open Internet Explorer’s Internet options, then go to the Security tab. Click the green Trusted sites tick, then the Sites button. Enter these websites, including the asterisks (*):

  • Hit Add to update your trusted sites.
  • Install the certificate using the control panel
    Open the KBC/Isabel control panel. Double-click Install your certificate and enter your card’s PIN when prompted. If the installation is successful, you’ll get a confirmation window.

"Website wants to open web content"

  • Check your version of the software. If it’s outdated, install the latest version.

"Browser type not allowed"

  • Using Internet Explorer 11?
  • Trying to log in with your card on a Mac computer? You can only log in on a Mac using our KBC Sign on your phone. 

"Wrong PIN"

  • Change your PIN in the control panel, then log in again with your new PIN.

"Loading security software failed" or "No security software installed"

"kbc.be/kbcbrussels.be/cbc.be not responding", a red exclamation mark or being prompted to fill in a field

eBusiness Card

Your KBC e-Business Card may not be activated. You need an active card to log in. See how to activate your e-Business Card.

If your e-Business Card is burnt, damaged, not working or lost, you’ll need a new one. You can get one in two ways:

  • Use our website form
  • Ask your administrator to apply for one using Business Dashboard

How do I download KBC Sign?

You can download KBC Sign for free from the Apple App Store or Google Play.

How do I sign with KBC Sign?

  1. Open KBC Sign on your smartphone
  2. Tap ‘Sign
  3. You will now see a summary of the transaction. Check to make sure all the information is correct and tap ‘Sign’ again.
  4. Enter your code and confirm it
  5. Your transaction has now been signed

KBC Sign isn’t working. What should I do?

How do I switch from the KBC e-Business Card to KBC Sign?

Contact either the administrator of your KBC Business Dashboard or your KBC branch. They are the only ones who can change the security procedure for you.

How do I activate the KBC e-Business Card and the card reader?

How do I switch from KBC Sign to the KBC e-Business Card?

In principle, this is not possible. Switching from Sign to the e-Business Card is only possible if you re-register in your KBC branch.

Important: Mac users can only use KBC Sign.
 

Other questions

How do I register as a new user?

If your company uses the KBC Business Dashboard and you would also like to access it, ask the administrator of the Business Dashboard to register you as a new user. Only the administrator can add more users.

Where can I download the security software?

Download the security software here.

  • Make sure you are using your computer as an administrator. The software installs itself automatically.
  • The software does not work on Mac computers. Mac users can log in securely and sign with KBC Sign.

How do I retrieve proof of payments that I have made?

Download proof of payments you have made for free (in Dutch, French or English).

  1. Go to the 'Payments' menu
  2. Tap or click 'Status and proof of payment' under 'Payments'
  3. Select either 'International payments' or 'SEPA payments'
  4. Search for the transfer in question
  5. Select your payment by tapping or clicking 'Details'. (You will now see your transfer.)
  6. Tap or click the blue PDF icon and select a language. (A new window will open with the proof of your payment.)
