Transferring money to Turkey? KBC will refund all the charges

Have family or friends in Turkey who’ve been affected by the earthquake and need financial assistance? Or prefer to support a local charity there? If so, KBC will refund all transaction charges if you transfer money to Turkey between 15 February and 15 March.

How does it work?

  • Make your transfer to Turkey in the usual way, but make sure to use the ‘OUR’ cost option so that the recipient of the funds doesn’t pay any charges
  • At that point, you pay the standard transaction charges. KBC will then see to it that those charges are refunded to you within a week
  • If you’ve transferred money in the meantime, KBC will refund those charges too, as long as your transfer was made between 15 February and 15 March.
