Checking your balance without logging in to KBC K'Ching

You're queuing at the checkout and you get out your wallet to pay… oh dear, you don't have any cash on you. You could always pay with your bank card, but then you start wondering if there's enough money on your account. You want to take a quick look in KBC K'Ching to see how much you have on your account. But that takes far too long on your old smartphone... It's nearly your turn to pay but you still haven't logged in to the app, let alone looked up your balance. Oh no, panic time! 

Now there's no need to get stressed again. Because you can check your balance far more quickly in KBC K'Ching, without even having to enter your PIN! All you have to do is open the app and hey presto, your balance appears on screen.

Setting up the app to see your balance on your start screen

Your balance just doesn't appear out of the blue on your start screen. You first have to set up your app to do it for you. All you have to do is follow these steps:

  1. Log in to KBC K'Ching and go to your profile
  2. Tap ‘My preferences
  3. Move the slider to the right and the balance will appear on your start screen from then on

If you'd rather that no-one else sees how much money you have, you can always disable the settings by moving the slider back to the left. The choice is yours.

Withdrawing cash at an ATM using KBC K'Ching

Forgotten your bank card and got no cash on you? H'm, then you've got a bit of a problem… well, unless you have your smartphone with you! Because you can also use KBC K'Ching to withdraw cash at KBC and CBC ATMs without any need for your bank card

  1. Open KBC K'Ching
  2. Tap the 'Withdraw money using MobileCash' button under your buddy in the login screen
  3. Read the information provided and tap 'OK'
  4. Enter your PIN
  5. Select the amount you want to withdraw
  6. Touch the ATM screen
  7. Use the app to scan the QR code on the screen
  8. Confirm your request by entering your five-digit PIN
  9. Wait until the ATM dispenses your cash
