What exactly is included with Leadlife Plus membership?

This service offers one year of free access to Leadlife’s well-being app. You qualify for this offer in the following two cases:

  • If you have a life insurance product at KBC (such as hospitalisation insurance, a pension scheme or loan balance insurance)
  • If you are covered by KBC Employee Care (such as a group hospitalisation or group insurance scheme) through your employer 

Leadlife Plus membership normally costs 119.99 euros a year, including VAT. It provides access to the Leadlife app, allowing you to do things like connect wearables, participate in academies and ask experts questions with the app’s chat feature.

How do I know if I’m eligible for free membership?

If you’re not sure, it’s a good idea to check with your insurance agent or your employer. Once you meet the necessary conditions, such as joining your employer’s group policy with KBC Insurance or taking out a life insurance product with KBC (for example, hospitalisation insurance, a pension scheme or loan balance insurance), you’ll be offered Leadlife Plus membership.

How long is this membership valid?

Free Leadlife Plus membership is valid for one year, after which your membership will be renewed, provided you still meet the conditions and provided KBC’s offer is still in effect. These conditions are met if you are still covered by a life insurance product at KBC (such as hospitalisation insurance, a group policy, a pension scheme or loan balance insurance) or by a KBC Employee Care product offered through your employer. If your membership has expired, you can still see your results and insights in your dashboard, but the other features of the Leadlife app will no longer be available.

What should I do if I can’t access Leadlife?

If the Leadlife tile in KBC Mobile does not allow you to access the service even though you meet the conditions (i.e. you are covered by a life insurance product at KBC such as hospitalisation insurance, a group policy, a pension scheme or loan balance insurance, or by a KBC Employee Care product offered through your employer), please contact your insurance agent or bank branch. In the case of a group policy, please contact your employer. KBC may not have received all the right details correctly.

I’m not a KBC customer and don’t have KBC Mobile, so how do I activate Leadlife?

Activating free Leadlife Plus membership is only possible via KBC Mobile. Even if you’re not a KBC customer, you can still access KBC Mobile free of charge.

Do I have to open an account with KBC?

No, you don’t need to have an account at KBC to be eligible for the offer through your employer.

Do I always have to use the KBC Mobile app to access Leadlife?

You can, but you don’t have to. You only need to use KBC Mobile to activate your Leadlife Plus membership the first time you log in.

I already have wearables or health trackers, so how exactly would I benefit from Leadlife?

In addition to the wealth of information and inspiration Leadlife provides to help you get started on your well-being journey, you can also ask questions via the chat feature. If you need further support or advice, feel free to schedule an online consultation with a health professional. Leadlife offers personalised insights to help you take an active approach to your well-being, making it a valuable addition to your wearables or health trackers.

What happens if I change jobs?

Your membership remains guaranteed for one year. If you no longer meet the conditions at your new employer (for example, because you’re no longer covered by KBC Employee Care), you won’t be able to renew your membership in KBC Mobile. When your membership expires, you’ll still be able to access your results and insights in your dashboard, but the other features of the Leadlife app will be unavailable.

What if I no longer meet the conditions for the Leadlife offer?

Your membership remains guaranteed for one year. If you no longer meet the conditions (for example, because you’re no longer covered by KBC Employee Care), your membership won’t be renewed free of charge. When your membership expires, you’ll still be able to access your results and insights in your dashboard, but the other features of the Leadlife app will be unavailable. You also always have the option (without obligation) to renew your membership at your own expense.

Why do I have to provide my personal e-mail address?

We recommend using a personal e-mail address so that any communication with a health professional will be sent to your personal inbox.

Who can I contact if I have any questions or problems?

If you experience technical problems when installing KBC Mobile or accessing your Leadlife Plus membership, call our helpdesk on 016 43 25 30. If you’re not sure whether you’re covered by a KBC Employee Care product through your employer (for example, if you can’t view your insurance products in KBC Mobile), you should contact your employer. If you have any questions about the Leadlife app, you can use its chat feature, or you can contact Leadlife directly at info@leadlife.com or on its contact page at www.leadlife.com/pages/contact.
