Investments with rate transparency

Investor protection is key to MiFID II and KBC

Always transparent

Transparency and open communication have always been a matter of course at KBC. We would therefore like to inform you of our rates and the services you get in return. In 2019, we will go yet one step further. From then onwards, we will provide you with a clear, personalised report each year.

The wide range of KBC services

KBC offers you many services. Investments involve a lot of different elements: you need to determine a strategy, analyse the data, wait for the right moment, read the financial newspapers and so on. The KBC experts will do those time-consuming tasks for you and will give you the necessary support based on your investment style, always taking into account the MiFID II rules.

What is MiFID II?

Investments, investor, stock exchange, exchange rate, share, stock market prices, transparent, transparency, mifid, mifid 2, mifid ii, rates, costs, rate transparency, cost transparency

MiFID brings nothing new under the sun. This European directive was already introduced in 2007 to improve competition and transparency on the financial markets and to protect you as an investor. You can therefore count on KBC to make sure its proposals to you are based on your financial situation, investment objectives and attitude in terms of risk and return.

The importance of the investor is key to MiFID II, the revised version of the directive that will come into effect on 1 January 2018. KBC will therefore give you clear information on the rates, risks and strategy of the investment products as always.

How will this affect you?

Not much really. KBC investors already receive open, transparent communication, which will continue in the coming years.
