Are you shivering from the cold or melting from the heat?

Opening your windows in summer or putting on 10 jumpers in winter is not an ideal solution. An air conditioner lets you easily control the temperature in your home.

Cooling in summer

It can get scorching hot during the summer months, which is when a little cooling comes in handy.

Air conditioning allows you to control the temperature in your home. The air conditioner draws in warm air from outside and cools it with an innovative system. This lets you to bring the temperature down a few degrees on a hot day.

Heating in winter

Did you know that you can also use an air conditioner as a heater? A fixed air-conditioning unit is actually an air-to-air heat pump, so it can also absorb cold outside air and heat it up, allowing you to quickly heat your home in winter.

An added benefit: an air conditioner is more efficient than a gas boiler.

As you can see, installing an air conditioning can definitely be worthwhile. But what’s the best way to have this work done? What are the different options, what does it all cost and how do you find a reliable contractor? That's where KBC comes in. No, air conditioning can heat or cool a room very quickly, all you have to do is adjust the temperature.

That depends on the size of your home and where you want to install air conditioning. If you want a unit in every room, it will cost more than if you only install air conditioning in your living room.

The average price is between 5 000 and 15 000 euros. Request your quote now with KBC Mobile.

A fixed air conditioner or air-to-air heat pump consumes between 2 000 and 5 000 kWh per year. Note, however, that this largely depends on the size of your home and how well insulated it is.

An air-to-air heat pump is a type of heat pump that extracts heat from the outside air and uses it to heat (or cool) a building. It actually works like a reverse air conditioner and can often serve the same function.

Yes, you can. You can make the most of your solar energy by linking your air conditioner to a smart control system: as soon as your solar panels generate more power than you use, your air conditioner will automatically switch on to cool your home.
