Logging in and out in KBC Touch
How do I log in to KBC Touch on my PC?
To do this, you need your KBC Bank Card and a KBC Card Reader equipped with a scan facility. You can log in by scanning the barcode. If you don't want to log in using the barcode, you'll need to generate an 8-digit start code instead on your card reader to do it. Watch the film clip on how to log in.
How do I log out of KBC Touch?
Click or tap your name or photo at the bottom left of the screen, select 'Log out' and then 'Log out' in the pop-up window. KBC Touch logs you out automatically if you're inactive for five minutes thanks to a built-in security feature.
I can no longer log in using my PIN on my tablet. What should I do?
If your PIN doesn't work anymore when you try to log in to KBC Touch on your tablet, tap the 'Remove user' button at the top right of the log-in screen and confirm using the 'trash can' icon.
Next, tap ‘New user’ and follow the steps on the screen. To do this, you need to use your bank card and a KBC Card Reader equipped with a scan facility just once. If you don't have this type of card reader, be sure to request one.
All you have to do now is set your new PIN, confirm twice and you're ready to go!
Can I log in on my tablet using a barcode?
Yes, you can. Select the user you want to log in with and tap
'Options' at the top right of the screen. You will then see the 'Log
in using a barcode' option. You can also decide whether you want to
log in using either your card reader or your PIN.
Can I also log in on my PC or laptop using a PIN?
No, you can't. You can only log in on these devices using your KBC Bank Card and KBC Card Reader.
How can I change my PIN for KBC Touch on my tablet?
Log in, tap 'Profile' at the upper right of the screen and then
'Change' beside the five dots. If you enter your old PIN first, you
can then set a new one.
There's no need to worry, you can easily set a new one. Have your KBC Bank Card and KBC Card Reader to hand and tap 'Options' in the log-in screen. When you select ‘Log in using PIN', you will see 'Forgotten PIN' at the top right. Tap it and follow the steps on the screen.
Where can I find my new messages?
The navigation bar at the left-hand side of the screen has a ‘Contact’ icon where all your messages are kept. A number attached to this icon means that you have one or more new messages.

Select 'Payments' in the left-side navigation bar and then tap the

How much does KBC Touch cost?
KBC Touch is free of charge for all KBC clients. Even if you don't have an account in your name, but – for instance – hold a power of attorney over an account at KBC, you can use KBC Touch on your PC and tablet, as well as the KBC Mobile app on your smartphone, for free.
Problems with use and updates
What do I do if I enter the wrong PIN three times in a row on my tablet?
KBC Touch is locked when you enter the wrong PIN three times in a row on your tablet. However, you can still use KBC Touch on your PC or laptop. If you want to use KBC Touch again on your tablet, you'll need to set a new PIN.
KBC Touch is running slow. What should I do?
KBC Touch doesn't work on my operating system. What should I do?
Check out the system requirements for KBC Touch. If your operating system is outdated, upgrade it. Remember that this is not always possible on older computers or tablets. Contact your supplier if you require any assistance.
I get a message saying that I need to update KBC Touch for my tablet. Is that normal?
We extend the options for KBC Touch and carry out optimisations about five times a year. If you use KBC Touch on your tablet, you need to run an update or it happens automatically, depending on your tablet's settings.
How do I replace a defective KBC Card Reader or one with a dead battery?
If your card reader doesn't work anymore or its battery is flat, it's easy to request a free replacement card reader online. Alternatively, just bring your old one in to your KBC Bank branch and ask for a new one.
